Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. You are the master of your domain. You determine your success while people’s words do not. Don’t ever let someone tell you that you’re not smart, you’re not funny, you’re not charismatic, you’re not strong, you’re not athletic. Don’t ever let someone tell you that you won’t make the NBA, you won’t run a Fortune 500 company, you won’t be President, you won’t be an actress. Don’t ever let someone tell you to buy into their way of “being realistic”.

Realism and success are on two opposite ends of the spectrum. It’s unrealistic to think that we could put people on the moon. It’s unrealistic to think that a guy who got cut from his high school basketball team would be the greatest basketball player to ever play the game. It’s unrealistic to think that a poor Scottish boy or a college drop-out would be the richest man in the world. Guess what?
