I’ve Never Lifted Weights Before – What Should I Do?

I have received numerous questions about my MP45 Program so I will be answering these questions throughout the website. I am sure many of you have the same kinds of questions so I want to address them in as much detail as possible. I have received unbelievable amounts of positive feedback and transformation stories. Hi,

I’m 46 years old and want to be as healthy as I can be. However, I haven’t done any serious weight training before. Is this MP45 program something I could use or am I too old for it?

Hey David, yes! So glad you reached out! MP45 is designed to be a gradual progressive approach so that means I completely designed this program specifically for beginners. This program is for everyone (looking to burn fat, build muscle, get toned, be more athletic, whatever it may be) and I’ve literally worked with tons of people your age who have seen absolutely phenomenal results following my principles. I start you off very gradually, in which you learn the basics (which often “advanced lifters” learned wrong or failed to implement) and get into super advanced techniques in just 6 and a half weeks. Most fitness models and bodybuilders who have envious bodies spend years getting to where they want to be only because they’ve done trial and error. Keyword: error. Lots of errors. Do something wrong, tweak it, see if it works, and try something else. This is a very poor way of doing things and takes up more time than you can ever imagine. I cut through all of the contradicting information out there and get you from A to Z in a short period of time because the guesswork is completely eliminated. It is all right there in front of you- everything for you to do for real results- just follow the plan both in the gym and in the kitchen and see the results.

Whether you are an endomorph looking to lose body fat or an ectomorph looking to gain muscle, the right training program needs to be implemented. Regardless of your goals, weightlifting is important. As Jack Lalanne said, weightlifting is an equalizer- it will help build muscle AND burn fat. Looking in great shape is about muscular composition. It’s having as much muscle as possible and little fat as possible. However, the nutritional program is what will vary based upon goals and body type, in which the amounts and types of foods should vary depending on the individual.
