This is an inspiring story about the power of family. This video shows the inspirational story of a father, Dick Hoyt, and his son, Rick, who compete together in marathons and triathlons across the country. Dick’s son, Rick, is physically disabled but it doesn’t stop him from joining his dad in these marathons. They even do Ironman competitions together, which make up three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island. Rick has cerebral palsy and during competition Dick pulls Rick in a special boat as they swim, carries him in a special seat in the front of a bicycle, and pushes him in a special wheelchair as they run.
