Michael Jordan Tribute
|Michael Jordan was the epitome of greatness in every aspect and it wasn’t as much as his talent or natural ability to be great, but his drive and willingness to be that. Jordan was the hardest working guy both off the court and on the court and that is perhaps what we don’t see in many of these athletes today and why basketball took such a lull for such a long period of time. Michael Jordan would chase after every loose ball, hustle for every rebound, and drive through the lane to get swarmed by three guys bigger than him. MJ would do whatever it took. Even when he went to the Wizards, the media acts as if he played awful in suggesting he should have never came back.
At 40 years old, MJ still averaged 20 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, and 5 assists per game. Those are comparable stats to most “stars” in the league in today’s era.
